Using Push Notifications allows a provider to transmit without typing in the 6-digit OTP. The provider simply approves a transmission request on their phone.
To use the Push Notifications option on the Authy app, the Authy app must first be bound to the provider’s account. (This is usually completed during registration.) The provider must also allow notifications on the Authy app. The notifications setting is found within the Authy app.
