Create and manage compound medications in the Compounds List Maintenance section. From here, you can add new compounds, edit existing compounds, and delete any compounds you no longer prescribe. The Compounds List is shared by all prescribers at your practice.

Add New Compound
- Click the Compounds Maintenance link in the List Maintenance section from the Admin tab.
- Click the New Compound button to open the Compound Builder.
- Enter a name for the compound in the Label field.
- Click the Add Ingredient button to enter the first compound ingredient.
- Enter the first Active Ingredient.
- Enter Strenth (str), Strength Units (Str Units), Quantity (Qty) and Quantity Units (Qty Units) information.
- Click the Add Ingredient button as needed to enter multiple ingredients.
- Enter Default Sig and Default Pharmacist Message. Enter Dispense, Dispense Form and Schedule information.
- Click Save.
- Click Cancel to cancel the action.
- Click Cancel to cancel the action.
- The new compound displays alphabetically in the Compounds List Maintenance section.
Edit Compound
- Click the Edit button for the compound. The Compound Builder opens.
- Edit the compound, then click Save.
- Click Cancel to cancel the action.
- Click Cancel to cancel the action.
Delete Compound
- Click the Caret next to Edit Button, then click Delete. The Delete Drug Compound window opens.
- Click Yes, Delete to delete the compound.
- Click Cancel to cancel the action.
- Click Cancel to cancel the action.
